Ava K. Doppelt again appears in the Florida Legal Elite Hall of Fame. To achieve Hall of Fame status, an attorney must have been a Florida Legal Elite winner at least seven times. Ms. Doppelt has appeared in Florida Legal Elite every year, since its inception in 2004.
In addition, Florida Legal Elite recognized ADD+G attorneys Herbert L. Allen and Brian R. Gilchrist.
Florida Legal Elite annually recognizes a prestigious list of esteemed attorneys, chosen by their colleagues. The 1,228 lawyers chosen exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession, and by doing so have received endorsement from their peers. Lawyers were asked to name attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others.
The ballots were tabulated by Bradenton-based Outsource America and EA Fernbacher, LLC in St. Petersburg. Each lawyer was given a score based on the number of votes received, with more weight given to votes coming from attorneys outside the firm. Only lawyers who are currently licensed and practicing in Florida were eligible for selection. The resulting list represents fewer than 2% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida.
