Biography:
Jeff Boyles practices law in the area of intellectual
property and related litigation involving patents, trademarks,
trade secrets, copyrights, right of publicity, RICO, and
internet disputes. He also provides trademark and copyright
acquisition and counseling services. Jeff is the current
Chair of the Intellectual Property Committee for the Orange
County Bar Association
Jeff attended law school at the University of Florida,
Levin College of Law, where he graduated with high honors
and earned a certificate degree in intellectual property.
In law school, he was a member of the Journal of Law
and Public Policy; worked as a research assistant for
professor Thomas Cotter, the director of the intellectual
property program; and was a teaching assistant for the
courses Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
Based upon his score on the Florida Bar Exam, Jeff was
selected by the Florida Fifth District Court of Appeal
to speak at the 2004 Florida Bar Induction Ceremony.
Jeff has also returned to the University of Florida as
a visiting lecturer on copyright law.
