Biography:
Dr. Estevez served as Assistant Director of the Clinical
Microbiology Laboratory at Duke University Medical Center
for ten years. He was a member of Duke University, School
of Medicine faculty, providing laboratory administration,
diagnostic services, applied research and teaching medical
students, medical technology students and pathology residents.
Dr. Estevez has authored twelve articles in clinical laboratory
and medical literature, has made presentations at lab medicine
conferences and has been an invited speaker at state, regional
and national meetings in medical and diagnostic microbiology.
He is a visiting lecturer for the University of Florida,
Levin College of Law and Department of Biomedical Engineering,
and also a visiting lecturer for Rollins College, Crummer
School of Business. Dr. Estevez is fluent in Spanish and
has a working knowledge of French and Italian.
