Biography:
Mr. Gilchrist is a Florida Board Certified Intellectual Property Law Attorney. He has substantial litigation
experience, including experience in all phases of intellectual property, trade secrets, deceptive trade practices,
unfair trade and restrictive covenant disputes. He has been rated an "AV" attorney by Martindale-Hubbell
since June 5, 1996 and is listed on their “Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.” He has been named to
“Florida Trend Legal Elite” lawyer, “Florida Super Lawyers,” “Orlando Magazine Best Lawyers” and the
“Best Lawyers in America.” Mr. Gilchrist is a Guardian ad Litem with the Orange County Legal Aid Society
and received an Award of Excellence in 2000 and 2004 and a Certificate of Appreciation for 2006, 2007 and
2008 for his efforts.
Mr. Gilchrist
is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a mediator and serves as a certified mediator for the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. He has been appointed by the Judges of the Middle District to mediate a number of intellectual property disputes and has been selected by numerous litigants as a third party neutral to assist in resolving intellectual property disputes.
