Biography:

Mr. Stewart engages in patent prosecution and reexamination, trademark and copyright acquisition, in intellectual property counseling and enforcement. He serves as an expert witness and consultant in patent matters. He also is an adjunct professor at Florida Institute of Technology.

Mr. Stewart formerly served in the United States Patent and Trademark Office as an administrative patent judge, special assistant to Assistant Commissioner for Patents, chief petitions examiner and patent examiner in the multiplex communications systems art. He also served as deputy head from the United States Patent Office to the 1988 technical negotiations with Japanese and European Patent Offices in Tokyo, Japan.
